The AVID Program in Orange County was initially implemented in 1992 in one high school. AVID has since expanded to 111 middle and high schools from 17 districts. Currently AVID serves over 10,000 students in Orange County. Of the 823 seniors that graduated in 2007, 79% applied to 4-year universities, with 67% being accepted.AVID Center LinkLink to AVID Center
